Dolphin Theatre
Opened in 1976, the Dolphin is a proscenium arch theatre with 198 raked seats.
Primarily used for University theatre productions, the Dolphin is available for commercial hire. Chamber Made Opera, William Yang and Lenny Henry are among the notable acts that have played at the Dolphin.
With a fly-tower and dance floor, the Dolphin Theatre can present a wide variety of performances. Dressing room facilities can accommodate a cast of 28.
University Theatres gratefully acknowledges a generous grant from the Alumni Annual Fund which equipped the Dolphin Theatre in 2014 with a state-of-the-art lighting control system.
