Hiring a Venue
With a wealth of experience, University Theatres provide comprehensive venue management services to hirers, including the provision of technical and front of house staff, ticketing, catering and lighting design. The major venues are air conditioned and equipped with theatrical lighting rigs and audio systems. There are three categories of user - approved, external or internal. Approved users have a strong alliance with the University of Western Australia and are accorded this status under specific circumstances. • If you are interested in hiring a venue, please contact the Administrative Officer Ruth Gogarty on 6488 7407 or at ruth.gogarty@uwa.edu.au to enquire about availability of your chosen venue. • University Theatres requires that all events in any of our venues are ticketed. Please contact the Administrative Officer for further information regarding Univeristy Theatres ticketing services.
• Liquor licensing – if you wish to provide or sell alcohol at your event, you will need to comply with liquor licensing legislation. Download liquor licensing permit.
• All hirers of University Theatres will need to provide a copy of their Certificate of Currency for public liability insurance to the value of $20 million. | |
