Drinks service

University Theatres offers excellent bar services in all of our function areas, using both permanent and temporary bar facilities.

Beverages are charged on a consumption basis, but please note prices do not include bar staff wages or equipment hire.

Another option is to use drink vouchers - these are issued to your guests to use at the main bar in each venue. As drink vouchers are used at the main bar, there are no additional staffing costs.

If you require a particular beverage for your function, just let us know.

Liquor permits

You need to apply for a liquor permit for functions not operating under University Theatres' Special Facility Licence. Such functions must be approved by the Theatre Manager or Patron Services Co-ordinator.

Catering

University Theatres does not provide food service. However, it is possible to have food provided separately by an external caterer, while we provide the drinks service.

Should you wish to have an external caterer provide full food and beverage service for your function, please view the below list for our recommended caterers.
